For the spectator and viewer London’s New Year’s Day Parade is a fabulous, thrilling, and exciting event. Imagine how much fun and excitement you can have by taking part. What an experience to be part of something that is broadcast by over 550 television stations around the world, to a Global TV audience of three hundred million people and a street audience of over 500,000 people. If that is not enough, think also of the satisfaction you will feel in being part of an event that raises tens of thousands of pounds for charity every year.
Obviously, with an event of our calibre we are pretty picky about who can take part as a performer or a volunteer. But if you think that you have got something to offer us, our audience, and our organisation, then we would love to hear from you and see if it might be possible that you could achieve the very high criteria required to be selected and invited to either perform or volunteer in London’s New Year’s Day Parade.
There are two ways you can be a part of LNYDP as either as a performer or a Parade Maker Volunteer.
Competing for charity cash prizes are fabulous displays and performances given by representatives of each of London’s Boroughs.
International marching bands, cheerleader groups, and other music and dance ensembles from all corners of the world.
Speciality performing groups, novelty items, vehicle entries from Britain and overseas and our famous ‘Parade Maker’ volunteers.
If you want to be part of our dedicated team of Parade Maker Volunteers, you can apply via our online application form.
